A Witchy Reading List: Beginners

One of the best ways for witches to learn the craft, in my opinion, is to read. And there’s nothing cozier than curling up in bed or on the couch with a blanket with a book when it starts to get cold.

Cosmic Corner has a beautiful room in our shop with shelves filled of books to buy, but also to read – feel free to sample the pages of our spell books before you commit.

Here’s my list for perfect beginner books to try out:

1. The Green Witch

For all the lovelies out there inspired by cottagecore and obsessed with plants, this book is written plain and simple. It’s perfect for beginners interested in herbalism or getting in tune with nature’s flow.

2. Glamour Magic

This is one of my favorite witchy books I’ve ever read. While there is spell work to practice embedded in the book, there’s something empowering that pours off the page while you read. It’s perfect for all genders too, because of it’s empowering nature. It really takes the superficial out of glamour magic and makes it about confidence instead.

3. The Spirit Almanac

While I haven’t actually read this one, it’s on my list! Self-care is so, so important in our daily lives and our spiritual practice. If you have no idea where to start with self-care or want it to mean more than an aesthetic face mask, this is the perfect place to start. Bonus points if you love journaling!
