New Moon In Sagittarius

This Sagittarius new moon is pushing us towards introspection as new beginnings remain farther down the road

new moon in Sagittarius

The New Moon peaks on December 1st, 2024 in the sign of Sagittarius. New moons are a time of new beginnings but they also represent times when we lean into the dark and unknown. This Sagittarius new moon is pushing us more into that space than a fertile new beginning as we are facing obstacles and setbacks right now with both Mercury and Jupiter retrograde. The invitation is to embrace patience and introspection.

New Moon opposite Jupiter in Gemini

There is definitely a lot of tension around this moon and the opposition to Jupiter retrograde is bringing a challenging energy. Jupiter is also the ruler of this lunation in Sagittarius so the retrograde is bringing this energy inward and adding an energy of pause and waiting. Our beliefs may be under reconstruction and we might be questioning the methods we have been using and if they are working for us or not.

New Moon Square Saturn in Pisces

The square to Saturn in Pisces is pushing us towards growth through challenging circumstances. We are asked to balance our dreaming with practicality. We may find that there is a lot of restriction around us at this time, and again, the theme of patience comes up. We must know this isn't the whole story and that things are in flux as we experience new growth.

Trine to the North Node in Aries and Mars in Leo

The harmonious aspects of this moon to the north node and mars are much appreciated additions in an otherwise uncomfortable moon. Despite the struggles taking place, what is happening now is pushing us towards our destiny and our desires in the long-term. The energy of Mars brings action which we may not be able to take at this time due to the limitations of the other aspects, particularly the retrogrades, and this could be frustrating and bring conflict. Being introspective about your reactions and what comes up will benefit you the most.
