Three End of Summer Witchy Activities

In Savannah the warm weather usually stays year round, but there usually is a chill that starts to form at night that signals autumn is settling in. As the summer begins to come to a close, it’s time to wrap up summer witchcraft and spiritual practice to make room for more autumnal themed ideas.

Here are three witchy things to do before summer ends!

1. Visit the sunflowers (or any in season flowers)

Depending on the state and area, the sunflowers may have already slumped over for the year. But in some places, they’re still cherry! Schedule a day with friends to go to a sunflower field and enjoy the fresh air, the views, and watch the bees! If the sunflowers are already gone, try looking for other in season flowers around Savannah, or ask vendors at the local farmers market what’s in season to visit.

2. Enjoy one last day or night at the beach

Sea water works magic on your skin and hair – while it’s still hot and sunny, visit the beach one last time to collect any sand or seawater you might want to use in your practice later. Tybee island beach at night is also stunning around a full moon.

3. Make jams with summer fruit

Blackberries, raspberries, strawberries. If you can harvest some of your own to make your own jam for kitchen witchery or honestly, just for some delicious toast, do it! You can also visit the local farmers market at Forsyth on Saturday mornings to purchase some.
